Description

The field service technician provides ongoing support to our existing and potential customers by responding to their urgent requests for repairs or diagnostics. This is the person who will visit the customer’s location to identify issues and perform the necessary repairs. As a field service technician, you will be a vital part of our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls and travel to job sites to diagnose problems with machinery, electrical equipment, or other systems
- Perform troubleshooting on equipment in operation
- Perform various upgrades and troubleshooting tasks on existing or new systems
- Use programming skills to solve certain problems
- Assist automation technicians with their tasks, such as
- Program various components (PLC, SCADA, and HMI)
- Assist with installation and setup
- Any other related tasks.
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- DEP in Electromechanics and/or
- DEP in Electrical Engineering and/or
- DEC in industrial electronics and/or
- DEC in Instrumentation and Control and/or
- Any combination of education and equivalent experience
