Modular panels and MCP

First and foremost, modular panels are a modern alternative to traditional MCCs (MCPs). Flexible, scalable, and easier to maintain, modular enclosures enable efficient replacement while reducing space requirements and long-term costs, all while complying with CSA Z462 to ensure safety for everyone.

The manufacture of “MCP” modular panels is the ideal alternative when considering a “MCC” (Motor Control Center) or its replacement. Our lead times, ranging from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the product, are among the fastest in the industry, and our solutions are designed 100% to meet your requirements!

In fact, when it comes time to integrate a power panel into your environment, modular solutions are the best option. Flexible, scalable, and efficient, they offer numerous technical and operational advantages:

Efficient use of space

Compared to cables, copper busbars help maximize available space and reduce clutter.

Easy to install

Furthermore, modular solutions stand out for their ease of installation, including pre-assembly, organization, and quick connection which reduces both time and costs on-site.

Flexibility and modularity

In addition, modular panels offer exceptional flexibility, as each section can be configured to suit your needs, depending on the requirements of your application. This modularity makes it easy to add, remove, or reconfigure components. It goes without saying that this is an ideal solution for meeting the requirements of the CSA Z462 standard regarding electrical safety and live-line work.

Reliability and durability

Modular solutions also offer enhanced reliability thanks to their robust, standardized design. Each section is individually tested, ensuring stable and safe operation in even the most demanding industrial environments.

Isolate the power sections from the control section

Since the design is 100% custom, it’s easy to use two sections of the cabinet that work together. The first for power and the other for control; this way, it is possible to work on one section (and thus part of the system) without having to touch the other section. This is used in particular for the Z4G2 or NFPA 70E arc flash standards for personal protection and live-line work.

Designed to grow with you over the long term

Modular panels are designed to give you greater flexibility when making changes to your operational processes. They can easily be reconfigured without requiring major replacements.

Ideal for use with “BUS BAR” and “DRIVES” and as a replacement for MCCs.

Unlike MCCs, which are often off-the-shelf and expensive when they incorporate variable-speed drives (VSDs), modular cabinets are custom-designed, allowing for better cost control and reduced expenses. They also facilitate the integration of fans or air conditioners, an option that is complex to implement in a traditional MCC. In addition, our manufacturing lead times are significantly shorter than those associated with sourcing MCCs.
